Café Rouge Chester has unveiled a beautifully redesigned bistro an equestrian theme, paying tribute to Chester's rich horse racing history.
Diners will now find many interesting quirks and features in the Bridge Street restaurant. A new wine bottle display made up of horseshoes has been installed alongside a-one-of-a-kind mural inspired by Chester Races. The building itself dates back to the 17th Century and features original exposed beams, and a brick vaulted ceiling.
Restaurant manager Lucy Newtown said: “With such a loyal group of regulars who love Café Rouge we were conscious that we didn't want to make dramatic changes. The new designs add a unique touch to our restaurant, and the beautiful mural will become a real talking point. We are hoping that one or two of the regulars will even swap their usual food orders for the new Escargots dish."
