Government poultry regulations

Feb 28th

Due to a recent outbreak of bird flu in Europe and parts of the UK, the Government has ordered poultry farmers to temporarily house birds in barns. As such, the poultry used to produce our free range eggs are currently housed in barns for their own welfare.

We remain very much committed to using free range eggs and supporting the farmers that supply them. We will be liaising closely with farmers to help navigate this period, in doing so strengthening our relationship and helping to achieve our free range commitment as soon as the temporary housing order has been lifted.
